Career development

Loopbaanontwikkeling

Your career reads like a storybook!

With chapters about periods in your career. A story with a solid foundation, a start because perhaps your parents thought that this would be the right direction for you, or because your sibling followed the same education. A story with fascinating parts in which you’re having fun, whistle on your way to work, and with a chapter where you thought: ‘Is this really all there is’? You follow an education, get new energy, yet still, there’s an itch.

All stages of your career have moments in which you doubt your talents, question your job satisfaction or experience tension on the balance between your work and your personal life. You might still enjoy going to work, but at the same time you notice that you want to start working on the next step.

For these moments, we’re here. Our career coaches think along with you, give you insights and provide you with tools. We switch roles, it’s not the employer that decides, you decide the course of your career. So that you want to move on, can and will move on, for a strong career story.

Does the course always need to be radically changed? Not at all, also with small adjustments in your current job or by entering into a conversation with your supervisor, you can get a new perspective on your work.

Fired? Now what?

You either got fired or are about to get fired in the near future. Frustrating when someone else makes that decision for you. Your life’s turned upside down, what’s happening to you? Or perhaps you’ve decided to start looking for a new job yourself. Perhaps you’ve even quit your current job without having a new one lined up yet.

Welcome to our wondrous world, the wondrous world of the labour market, the world that ’s going to be your world for a while now too. A world with numerous possibilities, possibilities you might not know exist yet. For all those situations we’ve designed a compact and concrete career course that helps you find that new job, the job that suits you.

Leiderschapsontwikkeling

Leadership development

‘You can only be a leader if you’re willing to be a learner too’

Sometimes, as a leader, you’re more of a team member than a leader, you brainstorm, contribute, and actively engage in discussions ‘at eye level.’

Sometimes the content calls for a decisive leader, your colleagues are brainstorming, thinking, and participating, there are opinions and suggestions. When this happens, people often look at you, as the leader, to make a decision.

It’s lovely if you can also be a ‘lazy leader’, hang back a little bit, encouraging colleagues to come up with their own solutions. You inspire, motivate, entice, and challenge them to grow and develop. All for a steep learning curve. And above all, you offer trust. A whole lot of trust.

As a leader, you ensure good teamwork with a vision, a mission, a common goal, and a clear strategy. It all sounds so simple, and yet it often proves more difficult in practice.

Consequently, our leadership programmes pay a lot of attention to your personal leadership style and developing style flexibility, so that you can show appropriate leadership in any situation. Working from the vision and (sensible) meetings, goals and decisions are topics that are always addressed. We also pay ample attention to conversation skills and ‘lazy leadership’. We experiment with what works and what doesn't, we learn personally and also collectively from and with each other. And above all, we combine learning and fun, because that works brilliantly.

Our leadership programmes are always custom-made, in co-creation with you as the client and with the participants, so that participants immediately take ownership of their leadership development. For an approach that really connects with your (desired) practice.

Teamontwikkeling

Team development

Are you a leader or member of a team in which there’s room for growth?

Would you like to work with your team, guided by a very clear vision on strategic topics, but does your collaboration hinder this?

Would you like to achieve results more effortlessly together?

Athletic teams and musicians practice every week, if not every day. The power is in the repetition. Repeating the exercise, experimenting with what’s possible. On their own but especially together, to get even better. For delivering that top performance. Learning personally and collectively, by trial and error. They discuss the best way of playing together and make agreements about it, about everyone’s part, role, and position. To work together on that common goal, on the collective result. What works are teams that make time to practice and experiment together often. To find out what does and doesn’t work. Teams that take the time to really get to know each other, to trust each other and due to this, engaging in a constructive and passionate debate. Where the wisdom of the majority and the minority is discussed in all its glory, for the sake of decision-making quality. A team with clarity on vision and meetings because what’s on the agenda reflects what the team values. A team where people hold each other accountable, not just for the content of their contributions but especially for their behaviour, and they can, because agreements have been made. If a team truly wants to have open conversations, it must be willing to receive all answers.

Can your team also take time to practise and experiment, simply because things are already going well and could get even better? Is there a sense of superficial harmony in your team? Are there informal leaders who call most of the shots? Do colleagues talk about each other rather than with each other? Do people hold back from speaking up, or are there just a few too many cynical jokes being made?

We’re happy to think and act along with you.

Persoonlijke coaching

Personal coaching

There are moments when you would like to press pause and reflect on how you perform your role. When you want to brainstorm and reach new insights, take the time to examine your behaviour and skills with a coach. Be challenged in one-on-one sessions to develop new habits.

Questions we’re often asked are, among others:

  • ‘How do I make sure my perfectionism can work more in my favour?’

  •  ‘How do I organise my work and the work of my team so we can work more systematic?’

  •  ‘How can I showcase myself and my work more without coming across as boastful?’

  • ‘How do I manage upwards effectively?’

  • ‘How can I set and maintain my boundaries?’

Just a small selection of the questions our coaches get asked. After an informal introductory talk with a coach, you’ll start to work on your coaching questions in a number of sessions. At the start, you’ll be asked to formulate these questions as concretely as possible. Experience shows; the more concrete the coaching questions, the more concrete the results are.

In every session, you’re inspired and stimulated to experiment with new behaviour, to examine what suits you well. Must you change everything? No, definitely not. Sometimes you can use small steps to undergo wonderful growth by just looking at your behaviour from a different angle.

Our coaches are specialised in various themes, there are coaches that have loads of experience in reintegration and burnout programs, executive coaches for leaders and entrepreneurs, provocative and career coaches, visionary, and practical coaches. What we all share is a result-oriented working method. Are you looking for a coach and would you like to ‘grab a coffee together’ without any obligations, then feel free to reach out to us. We’ll listen to your story, your questions and subsequently get you into contact with one of our coaches.
